Georgios Pavlakos

Assistant Professor
Georgios Pavlakos, now an Assistant Professor in UT Computer Science, was previously a Postdoctoral Researcher at UC Berkeley, mentored by Angjoo Kanazawa and Jitendra Malik. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania with Kostas Daniilidis as his advisor. His academic journey includes undergraduate studies at the National Technical University of Athens, collaborating with Petros Maragos. Georgios has contributed significantly to research during his time at the Max Planck Institute with Michael Black and at Facebook Reality Labs with Yaser Sheikh and Tomas Simon.
