Carol Ramsey is an Assistant Professor of Instruction in UT Computer Science. Her goal is to research and implement computer science classroom experiences in ways that make computer science careers accessible to more people. She received both her M.Ed. in STEM Education and her B.A. in Computer Science from The University of Texas. She has twenty years experience as a software developer and program manager, primarily with enterprise-level, integrated Java applications. She has taught computer science in industry, Junior Colleges and in K12. She strives to be the best CS teacher of all time and to promote a more diverse CS workforce.
