Alan Cline

Professor Emeritus
Alan Cline is a Professor Emeritus in the Department of Computer Science. In 2005, Dr. Cline was elected to the Academy of Distinguished Teachers and in 2010, he was awarded the University of Texas Regents Outstanding Teachers Award. Previously, Dr. Cline has served as Southern Regional Director for the Computer Professionals for Social Responsibility. His research interests include numerical analysis, scientific computing, and mathematical software.
